<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation control unit for vehicles capable of improving the characteristics, when smoothing the output voltage of a generator for vehicles. <P>SOLUTION: The power generation control unit for vehicles has a smoothing circuit 104 for fetching the output voltage of the generator for vehicles for smoothing. The smoothing circuit 104 has first and second capacitors 16, 18, and first and second switches 20, 22 connected to one and to the other ends of the second capacitor 18, respectively. A series circuit, comprising the first switch 20, the second capacitor 18, and the second switch 22, is connected to the first capacitor 16 in parallel, and the first and second switches 20, 22 are turned off simultaneously. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
