PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience in use of an electronic zoom regarding an electronic zooming technique for electronically changing an angle of view of a picked-up image. SOLUTION: When a user performs a predetermined operation using a zooming operating means, first electronic zooming processing for changing the number of pixels by reducing a picked-up image is shifted to second electronic zooming processing for changing the number of pixels by enlarging the image, thereby restricting the processing shift.
