PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile information terminal device which can automatically perform an open/close drive by a compact motor whose output is small. SOLUTION: In a mobile information terminal device, an upper cabinet rotates on the anterior surface of a lower cabinet and automatically opens. A DC motor 11 which becomes a driving source of the rotation reduces its speed by a slowing down mechanism 12, a pinion gear 15, and a spur gear 17. Thus, a torque concerning the DC motor 11 is reduced, and the mobile information terminal device can automatically open/close as driven by a compact motor whose output is small.
