PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process of a light transmitting electromagnetic wave shielding window material having a mesh metal conductive layer formed by soluble dot formation method, in which an anti-glare layer can be provided on the substrate side of the metal layer. SOLUTION: The production process of a light transmitting electromagnetic wave shielding window material comprises a step for forming a print layer of negative mesh pattern on a transparent substrate; a step for coating the transparent substrate with anti-glare ink to form a coating layer; a step for drying the anti-glare ink coating layer to form a mesh pattern anti-glare layer; a step for forming a metal conductive layer on the transparent substrate on which the anti-glare layer is formed; and a step for cleaning the negative pattern print layer on the surface of the transparent substrate on which the metal conductive layer is formed using soluble solvent, and removing the print layer and the overlying metal conductive layer to form a mesh metal conductive layer wherein the anti-glare ink satisfies a relation expressed by a formula;θ>85°(where,θis the contact angle of the anti-glare ink against the surface of the negative pattern print layer).
