PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work control apparatus for a pile driver, which can shorten working time by enhancing work efficiency when a plurality of steel pipe piles are connected and buried in a plurality of driving positions. SOLUTION: This work control apparatus comprises: a position storage means for storing positions in which the plurality of steel pipe piles are buried in the state of being connected together; a depth storage means for storing each of the burial depths of the steel pipe piles in the individual driving positions stored in the position storage means; and a position selecting means for selecting one of the plurality of driving positions stored in the position storage means. When the steel pipe pile is buried in one driving position selected by the position selecting means, the depth storage means stores the burial depth in the driving position. When the steel pipe pile is buried in one of the other driving positions, which is selected by the position selecting means, the depth storage means reads the burial depth corresponding to one of the other driving positions, and stores a burial depth which is obtained by adding the burial depth of a newly buried steel pipe pile to the read burial depth.
