PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collection, control method suitable for the spawns of Myxine garmani having a special form, to provide a tool therefor, and to breed filtration microorganisms in bottom sand having small diameters to realize an efficient biological filtration, without leaving residues in bottom sand to cause the deterioration of water quality, when sand having very small particle diameters is used as the bottom sand of an aquarium for breeding an aquarium animal. SOLUTION: The summary of the present invention is to use a net-like structure which selectively engages with fibrous projections characteristically appearing on the spawns of the Myxine garmani. Another problem is attaching a weight to the tip of a flexible water pipe, supplying water to the pipe, strongly jetting water on the surface of the bottom sand to partially stir the surface bottom sand, burying the tip of the water-jetting water pipe in the sand by the mass of the weight attached to the tip of the water pipe, and stirring the bottom sand from the bottom surface of the bottom sand.
