<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage position management system capable of grasping an article storage position in detail and managing the position of the article in detail. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna for communicating with a radio tag and a light emitting light source are provided in each block of an article storage shelf divided into a plurality of blocks, and an antenna selector device communicates with a radio tag attached to an article of each block in order. The system is provided with a database to store the information related to the identification number properly assigned to the articles, the articles and storage of the articles, and a server to research the database, renew it and control to light/extinguish the light emitting light source.
