PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system in which a DA conversion function and an AD conversion function are not required and in which the number of wiring between a camera apparatus and a camera server is reduced. SOLUTION: The camera system 1 includes a camera apparatus 2 and a camera server 3, wherein the camera apparatus 2 comprises an image sensor 20 (imaging unit) and a microphone 10 and outputs a digital data signal including video data based on an imaging signal of the image sensor 20 and audio data based on an audio signal of the microphone 10, and the camera server 3 comprises a USB connector 13 (input terminal) to which the data signal is input, and a communication interface 18 which distributes a data signal to a client as a digital data signal, and distributes the data signal from the camera apparatus 2 to the client.
