<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processor and its signal processing method for processing various signals. <P>SOLUTION: This signal processor includes: a frequency detection means for detecting the frequency of a data signal by inspecting the synchronization of the data signal and a reference signal; an oscillation means for supplying a reference signal to the frequency detection means; a frame detection means for detecting a frame forming the data signal; and a control means for changing the frequency of a reference signal to be supplied by the oscillation means so that the frequency synchronization between the data signal and the reference signal can be achieved in the synchronization inspection by the frequency detection means, and for setting the information of the frequency whose frequency synchronization has been achieved in the frame detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
