PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically display information to be displayed on a display screen for informing a user about contents of an unread reception mail or the like utilizing a limited space of the display screen of a mobile telephone terminal effectively even if a prescribed operation is not taken by the user. SOLUTION: The information to be displayed for informing the user is scroll-displayed on a part of a pictograph display area of the display screen, and a pictograph display to be displayed on the pictograph display area is displayed by inserting it into the information to be scroll-displayed.
