PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply system including a pump for releasing gas from the inside of the pump to the outside of the pump without using part of a discharge passage for releasing the gas, while using only other passages. SOLUTION: The fuel supply system 10 comprises a tank chamber 18b, and the pump 16 for compressing fuel stored in the tank chamber 18b and delivering it. The pump 16 has the discharge passage 38 for discharging the fuel, a communication hole 200 through which the gas in the pump 16 is released to the tank chamber 18b, and a bubble purge valve 210 for opening/closing the communication hole 200. The bubble purge valve 210 is opened during a time for releasing the gas and closed at the time when the movement of the gas is completed to some extent.
