PURPOSE: A central ECU(Electronic Control Unit) of a brake-by-wire system capable of dividing wheel speed information and a wheel speed information dividing method are provided to improve the stability of the system by smoothly controlling the brake on the central ECU when the central ECU is malfunctioned. CONSTITUTION: A central ECU(300) of a brake-by-wire system comprises a division unit(310) and a division control unit(320). The division unit divides the wheel speed information transmitted from a wheel speed sensor(100) to a micro control unit or a wheel ECU. The division control unit controls the division unit when the micro control unit is malfunctioned, thereby transmitting the received wheel speed information to the wheel ECU.
