PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head which suppresses reduction of the amount of bending of a piezoelectric layer. SOLUTION: An actuator unit 21 has three piezoelectric layers 41 to 43, an individual electrode 35 disposed on the piezoelectric layer 41, and a common electrode 34 disposed between the piezoelectric layers 41 and 42. The individual electrode 35 has a main electrode region 35a disposed by interposing therebetween the center section of a pressure chamber 10 in a region opposed to the pressure chamber 10. An activity section between the main electrode region 35a of the piezoelectric layer 41 and the common electrode 34 deforms so as to increase the volume of the pressure chamber 10 when an electric field is applied. The main electrode region 35a is disposed so that the activity section may not reach the area which deforms so as to prevent the deformation to increase the volume of the pressure chamber 10.
