摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a porous body having a prescribed depth at a prescribed position. SOLUTION: Metallic powder is subjected to a compression or sintering stage so as to be a molded body with a prescribed shape. The molded body is subjected to heat treatment by arc discharge or the like, and the molded body is melted to a prescribed depth in the prescribed position of the molded body. Fine pores in the melted region are flocculated into macroscopic pores 1 so as to be a porous metal A. In the heat treatment, metallic powder or the like for promoting the increasing pores are not supplied, thus, the treatment is simple, and a step difference produced between a porous part and a non-porous part is small. Further, the ratio of the pores (porosity) in the porous metal A is decided by the amount of the fine pores, and the amount of the pores can be regulated by treating conditions in each treatment such as extrusion molding. Further, hydroxide can be formed on the surface of the metallic powder for increasing porosity. As the metallic powder, metals such as magnesium and alloys of the metals can be adopted.
