<p>The invention relates to producing sorbents for liquid hydrocarbons which are spilled on a water surface by emergency and technogenic pollutions and can be used for removing petroleum products, oils and fats from an aquatic medium. The inventive method consists in processing an initial porous and microporous material based on natural and artificial alumosilicates and in adding alumoferrites thereto, in supplying the initial material fractions (1) to a working chamber (2), in activating said material by electromagnetic radiation (26) and acoustical action (27) performed thereon, in treating the material by a hydrophobisation solution by means of nozzles (8) in a vibroboiling volume flow in the cavity of the chamber (2) by supplying an inert gas or air or the mixture thereof heated to a temperature tanging from 80 to 150°C, in additionally using pulse acoustic gas flows, in treating a gas-vapour phase by infrared radiation (28) in the chamber (2), in supplying the treated fractionated material to a collecting and feeding bin (12) and in transferring powdery particles towards cyclones (14) and decanting tank (21), thereby obtaining an additional portion of sorbent. The inventive method makes it possible to control all operations and stages for producing a sorbent with respect to heat indexes and the ecological purity of the process and the sorption activity of the product which is used in the form of a highly efficient sorbent for different liquid hydrocarbons, exhibits a high specific fullness, is completely free of hydrocarbon desorption and has a long term 100% flotation ability.</p> |
