<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium which brings about the good quality of inkjet recording and a good feeling of gloss in the use of a rewetting method. <P>SOLUTION: In this inkjet recording medium, at least one ink absorbing layer is provided on a substrate; a gloss developing layer is provided on the surface of the ink absorbing layer; and after that, the gloss is imparted by the rewetting and cast-coating method.
