FABRICATION METHODS OF OXIDATION-RESISTED INTERCONNECT FOR SOLID OXIDE FUEL CELL

A method for preparing a metal connector for a solid oxide fuel cell is provided to improve conductivity and oxidation resistance and to simplify a manufacturing process. A method for preparing a metal connector comprises the steps of coating any one metal selected from nickel, cobalt and manganese on the surface of stainless steel to form a thin film; ceramic coating a Perovskite compound comprising at least one selected from lanthanum-strontium-manganese oxide and lanthanum-strontium-cobalt-iron oxide on the stainless steel; and heat treating the ceramic coated stainless steel under oxidative atmosphere. Preferably the thin film is formed by electroplating or electroless plating and has a thickness of 0.1-10 micrometers.
