PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering control device capable of performing appropriate motor energization control in accordance with an actual vehicle traveling state even in low-speed traveling, restraining heat generation of a motor or the like, suppressing power consumption, and improving a steering feeling. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a microcomputer 11 for controlling an amount of energization to the motor 5 for generating steering auxiliary torque based on steering torque applied to a steering wheel 1 and vehicle speed. In a low speed state where a vehicle speed sensor 6 outputting a pulse signal with rotation of a wheel has difficulties in detecting the speed, the microcomputer 11 performs energization control in accordance with the vehicle speed detected by a radar device 7 capable of detecting the speed even in a low speed region.
