<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To physically enhance tamper resistance, relating to a data storage device, a data protection method and communication equipment. <P>SOLUTION: Electric wires sufficiently thin relative to the lengths and widths of the faces of a casing 31 are wired in protection boards 33-36 and the other two protection boards not shown which are attached onto the inner surfaces of the respective faces in the casing 31, at sufficiently small intervals relative to the lengths and widths of the faces of the casing 31. The protection boards are electrically connected to a main board 32 via connectors, respectively. When the electric wires on the protection boards are disconnected or the connectors between the protection boards and the main board are separated, power supply to a RAM on the main board 32 is stopped and the data of the RAM is deleted. Furthermore, a scramble key is changed which assigns physical addresses by scrambling a logical address. The present invention is applied to a reader/writer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
