PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing container for an optical product, which is capable of protecting the optical product even if an external force, such as pressure-reduced force applied to the packing container being packed at reduced pressure or shock applied to the packing container during transport, is exerted to the container. SOLUTION: Even if external force is exerted to the packing container 101 from above, a tray plate 231 making face contact with a lid plate 511 can receive external force transmitted via a lid 501, thereby reducing external force exerted to an optical product 600.
