<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber wide area sensor system which has a plurality of types of transmission/reception processing parts having signal light transmitting/receiving and processing functions, etc. and by which an optional sensor array is shared by optional transmission/reception processing parts. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission/reception processing part 20-i is comprised of a signal light source part 21 having a signal light source, a transmission gate and a booth amplifier and a receiving part having an outward transmission fiber connected to the signal light source part 21, a light receiving part 23 connected to a homeward transmission fiber, a DMUX 7 and demodulation processing parts 8-1, 8-2, ..., a multiplexing/demultiplexing amplifier 30-i is comprised of an amplifier 31 for transmission/reception, a multi-wavelength excitation light source 35, a coupler 32 for transmission/reception, two couplers 33-1, 33-2 for buses and an amplifier 34 connected between the couplers and a multiplexer/demultiplexer 40-i for array has two multiplexers 41-1, 41-2, an array coupler 42-1, a remote amplifier 43-1 and an excitation optical multiplexer 45-1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
