PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selectively controlling ipomoeas. SOLUTION: This method for selectively controlling the ipomoeas is provided by treating the lower part of the root of the ipomoeas with a single kind compound or the blend of≥2 kinds of compounds selected from glufosinate, L-glufosinate, bialaphos, paraquat and diquat.
