摘要 A large-sized rainwater retention basin and the construction method are provided to cut down on the manufacturing cost by simplifying the shape of a large-sized rainwater retention basin, not to cause any convenience to conveyance by distributing weight evenly, to keep and carry effectively in a narrow site of the downtown area by supplying the required materials at a suitable time, and to have structural stability. A large-sized rainwater retention basin comprises one or more central walls composed of a base plate formed in a rectangular parallelepiped shape, columns formed on two ends of the base plate to the fixed thickness in an upward direction and a coping located at the top of the column perpendicularly to two ends of the base plate to the fixed width and thickness, right and left side walls(2') composed of a bottom plate formed in a rectangular parallelepiped shape and a wall formed vertically to the one end of the bottom plate, a floor slab closed with cast-in-place concrete or PC members to finish up openings between the base plates of the central walls installed continuously, or, openings between the bottom plate of the right and left side walls and the base plates of the central walls, door type right and left ceiling slabs(14,14') closing an upper space of the central walls adjacent to the right and left side walls installed continuously and a door type central ceiling slab(15) closing an upper space of the central walls installed continuously, and front and rear finishing walls(16) closing front and rear openings of a boxed shaped block composed of the right and left side walls, the central walls, the floor slabs, and right, left and central ceiling slabs. A construction method of a large-sized rainwater retention basin comprises the steps of: excavating the foundation ground, leveling the ground, and paving and compacting a rubble foundation layer; installing rails or H-beams on a concrete foundation to keep the precise location and level on the rubble foundation layer; installing right and left side walls and central walls continuously on the rails or the H-beams in the vertical direction, and tensing and anchoring using PC steel bars; completing a floor slab by finishing with cast-in-place concrete or PC members to close openings of a base plate; assembling door type right and left ceiling slabs installed continuously with a door type central ceiling slab for closing an upper space of the central walls; assembling front and rear finishing walls for closing front and rear openings of a box shaped block composed of the right and left side walls, the central walls, the floor slabs, and right, left and central ceiling slabs; installing an elastic sealing member to the inside of a joint between the assembled members, installing a water cutoff sheet or a permeable sheet to an external wall of a retention basin and refilling with a fine sane layer, and installing an inspection hole and a ventilation hole on the upper part of the retention basin; and installing a joint structure of an inlet and an outlet, covering the upper part of the retention basin with soil and installing necessary facilities.
