The sensor (1) has a sensor head (9), and a microstrip supply line (4) for supplying high-frequency signals. An electrically conductive planar resonator in the form of a coil (6) is arranged at an end of the line and adjacent to the sensor head, where an end of the resonator is opened and the sensor head has a sensitive material (8). The line is arranged in a cylindrical pipe for a housing (2), where the end forms the cylindrical sensor head and the resonator is planarly arranged in a plane transverse to a longitudinal direction of the housing. An independent claim is also included for a frequency determination-circuit arrangement for broadband determining of characteristic frequency of a measuring signal of an oscillator-circuit arrangement.
