PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion type liquid bathing agent which has a high skin moisture-retaining effect and gives bath water having transparent whey color. SOLUTION: This emulsion type liquid bathing agent having an emulsion particle median particle diameter of 0.1 to 0.4μm comprises the following components (A) and (B); (A): 10 to 45 mass% of an oily component containing a petrolatum-containing hydrocarbon-based oil in an amount of 10 to 40 mass% based on the bathing agent and (B): 0.1 to 5 mass% of a polyoxyethylene 14 to 18C alkyl phosphate containing≥11 mol.% of a triester or a salt thereof.
