PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing apparatus whereby data accessible by each of users can be particularized when the photographing apparatus is shared by a plurality of the users. SOLUTION: The photographing apparatus includes: a system management section 9 for generating management data to manage video data produced by a signal processing section 2; a fixed memory 4 fixedly arranged in the apparatus and capable of recording the video data output from at least the signal processing section 2; and a removable memory 5 attachable to/detachable from the apparatus and capable of recording the management data generated by the system management section 9, and the management data includes at least information of file names of the video data and information of addresses in the fixed memory 4 at which the video data are recorded.
