摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent including an electromagnetic wave preventive substance which can effectively improve a combustion efficiency by preventing penetration of an electromagnetic wave and a prevention method. SOLUTION: Explosive energy in a combustion chamber of an engine is turned into high energy particles, and the electromagnetic wave generated at the time of disappearance of the particles can penetrate the engine because the electromagnetic wave is smaller than molecules of a casting and aluminum alloy used for an engine structure. The penetration of the electromagnetic wave becomes one of energy loss factors. A coating agent including the electromagnetic wave preventive substance is applied on the whole surface of a cylinder head cover 2 of the combustion chamber 1. A spraying method for spraying from the outside by a spray is used, and the combustion efficiency can be substantially improved right after application of the coating agent so that the energy loss can be prevented by forming a film made of components of the electromagnetic wave preventive substance.
