An apparatus and a method for providing an on-line clothing management service are provided to collect clothing of clients on-line, wash the clothing, keep the clothing, provide information on the clothing to the clients and allow clothing to be bought and sold between clients. An apparatus for proving an on-line clothing management service includes an interface(310) through which a clothing management service is provided to clients or off-line stores through the Internet, an authentication unit(320), a searching unit(330) and a storage unit. The authentication unit provides authentication for using the clothing management service through the interface. The searching unit searches clothing information which conforms to an inputted condition. The storage unit stores information on clients or off-line stores provided with the clothing management service through the interface and clothing information. |
