<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment device such as a degassing device wherein a plurality of liquid crystal panels 10 each consisting of a panel body and a polarizing plate which is stuck to the panel body, are accommodated in cassettes 15, respectively, and the plurality of cassettes 15 are conveyed into the chamber 21 of an autoclave 20 for heating and pressurization to remove air bubbles that are present between the panel body and the polarizing plate, so that degassing treatment efficiency is enhanced by efficiently using the space in the chamber 21 in case a variety of sizes are given to the cassettes 15. <P>SOLUTION: The length of each of the individual cassettes 15 which are to be conveyed into the chamber 21 is detected by a size detector 60. A controller 70 controls a delivery conveyor 40 and an interior conveyor 28 so that, when the total length La of the cassettes 15 is larger than a length Lc of the chamber 21 (La>Lc), such cassettes 15 are prevented from being conveyed into the chamber 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
