An LCD device is provided to mount an electric device used in a circuit driving an LCD panel or a circuit of a portable device with an LCD panel on a circuit board on which an LED is mounted, thereby reducing a region of mounting the electric device and reducing the nonuniformity of brightness. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device(100) comprises an LCD panel(1), a backlight(110), an LED(Light Emitting Diode)(150), a light guide plate(120) and a circuit board(160). The backlight radiates light to the LCD panel. The LED is installed on the backlight. The light guide plate receives the light from the LED. The circuit board has the mounted LED. A depressed portion is formed on the light guide plate. An electric device is mounted on the circuit board so that the electric device is positioned on the light guide plate closer than the LED.
