A solid-liquid separator using vacuum is provided to improve convenience and efficiency when using the solid-liquid separator as compared with conventional solid-liquid separators by enabling the water content of treated sludge to be controlled. A solid-liquid separator using vacuum comprises: an electric motor(12) for driving the drum screen, which generates rotary power from the drum screen; a chain sprocket(11) for the drum screen, which is installed on a rotary shaft of the electric motor for driving the drum screen; a chain(10) for transmitting power between the electric motor for driving the drum screen and the chain sprocket for the drum screen; a drum screen(5) which is made of a perforated mesh or wedge bar, and in which openings are formed in a predetermined ratio; an electric motor(14) for driving the screw for generating rotary power from the screw; a chain coupling(13) connected onto a rotary shaft of the electric motor for driving the screw, and a screw(4) connected to the chain coupling; an upper cover(8) for covering an upper part of the drum screen; a sealing rubber(9) for sealing a space between the drum screen and the cover, and the body; an air pipe(6) for supplying air exhausted from the vacuum pump into a top part of the drum screen; a hood(7) for supplying inflow air such that the air is not dispersed on an upper surface of the drum screen; a vacuum pump(18) for forming vacuum within the chamber by sucking air in a lower part of the drum screen; a vacuum chamber(17) in which vacuum is formed to separate solids and liquid in the drum screen; and a body frame(15) for supporting the foregoing components.
