A knockdown towing apparatus and a method thereof is provided to employ vehicle right and left side support units allowing right and left wheels of a vehicle to be spaced from the ground and a towing shaft connected to a tractor. A knockdown towing apparatus includes a right movement unit(20), a left movement unit(40), and a vehicle support unit(58). The right movement unit is installed in the side portion of a right wheel of a vehicle to move the right side of the vehicle. The left movement unit is installed in the side portion of a left wheel of the vehicle to move the left side of the vehicle. The vehicle support unit is hinged to the right and left movement units. The left movement unit, the right movement unit, and the vehicle support unit are disassembled in ordinary times, and assembled when the necessity of towing the vehicle exists. |
