A washing machine is provided to connect and separate an outer plate and an inner plate thereof by forming a hanging groove and a protrude at the outer plate and the inner plate respectively. A washing machine has a body and a door. The door has an outer plate, an inner plate(60), and a combining unit(40). The outer plate forms exterior appearance of the door. The inner plate forms an inner surface of the door. A hanging groove and a protrude are formed at the outer plate and the inner plate respectively and conformed each other. The combining unit is composed of the hanging groove, a connecting piece, the protrude, and ribs(47,48). The connecting piece is formed at the outer plate. The ribs are formed at the inner plate.
