A power generating system is provided to generate power using flow of fluid resulting from an air volume difference due to a temperature difference. A power generating system includes a closed structure, an open structure, a long pipe, a door, and a generator. The closed structure has a hexahedral structure in which air is contained. The open structure contains fluid. The long pipe interconnects the closed structure and the open structure. The door opens/closes to control connection between the closed structure and the open structure. The generator is mounted on the long pipe.
