A crease forming apparatus of trousers is provided to form the creases to the leg portions, knee portions and the like of the trousers through simple mechanical operations. A body(10) is horizontally installed at the front of a work stand(1) and constructed as a case. Semi-spherical guides(21) formed at the rear of legs(20) are combined with semi-spherical guide grooves(11), respectively. Bevel gears(23) are fixed at rotation shafts(22) slanted upwardly from the semi-spherical guides, respectively, and engaged with each other. A hooking piece is combined to an inside vertical support piece of the body by a pin. The rear of the hooking piece is connected with a piston rod of a cylinder(32) by a link. The hooking piece is rotated with the pin in the center by the power of the cylinder, and combined or separated between the gear teeth of the bevel gear so that the rotation of the bevel gears is controlled. The crotch of pants is inserted between the legs so that the crease is formed. |
