A dome-type camera apparatus is provided to rotate the camera without opening a cover, thereby easily changing a photographing angle in up/down and right/left directions. A dome-type camera apparatus comprises a base(110), a first rotary body(120), and a second rotary body(140). The base is fixed on a ceiling or a wall. The first rotary body is rotatably joined to the base. The second rotary body is rotatably joined to the first rotary body in a direction perpendicular to the rotating direction of the first rotary body. Plural contact grooves(118) are radially formed for the rotation axis of the first rotary body in a side out of contact sides between the base and the first rotary body. A contact protrusion inserted into the contact groove is formed in the other side out of the contact sides.
