In a game device (A1), a player registers at least one game character, out of previously prepared game characters, at an organization managed in a virtual space by the player, and performs a match with another game device (B1) by using a character that is specified by the player from among game characters registered at the organization. A server device (3) calculates the popularity rating of each game character based on information transmitted from the game devices (A1, B1), and determines, depending on the rating, a registration fee required to register each game character at the organization. A registration fee list is distributed to the game devices when the game devices are activated. |
