PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drip tap having two drainage mechanisms which dose not need a sand-stopper cover for drainage, is high in drainage capability while facilitating the replacement of a water stopper packing, a drain packing, etc., and does not cause intermediate water leakage. SOLUTION: A fitting part between a tap body and an outer cylinder is formed into an intermittent fitting structure to form a space (gap) so that a plurality of drain ports formed on an outer cylinder are eliminated to give the tap body a sand stopper cover function. A water stopper piece 3 has a water stopper packing 2 covering its front end and a drain packing 4 oppose the water stopper packing 2 across a gap. The water stopper packing 2 is composed of a central projection covering the front end of the water stopper piece 3, and a peripheral portion connected to the projection at right angles. An operation rod 19 descends to stop water first at a vertical sheet on the side face of a projecting portion of the water stopper piece 3, thus causing a small diameter portion of the projection to stop water first. This requires small force for operating the drain tap. A pipeline from a water heater is connected to a hot water pipeline 24 of the drain tap, and hot water from the water heater flows through a second drain passage 108, a second drain port 109, and a gap 110 to be drained to the outside.
