PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall-hung lifting and lowering toilet bowl which is suitable for installation in toilet rooms in all types of buildings, enables the effective utilization of a toilet space, and has excellent cleanability. SOLUTION: This wall-hung lifting and lowering toilet bowl 1 comprises a toilet bowl 20, a toilet-bowl mounting member 21 one end of which is connected to the toilet bowl 20, and a lifting and lowering device 30 which is fitted with the member 21 and can be installed on the floor surface F of the toilet room. The member 21 and the toilet bowl 20 are integrally lifted and lowered with respect to the floor surface F of the toilet room via the device 30 in a state that the device 30 is installed on the floor surface F of the toilet room. In the cleaning of the toilet bowl 20, the toilet bowl 20 is lifted to be turned into a state of separation from the floor surface F from a state of contact with the floor surface. After the completion of the cleaning of the toilet bowl 20, the toilet bowl 20 is lowered to the floor surface F so as to come into contact with ground, and a damper 34 suppresses a descending speed of the toilet bowl 20.
