PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a sulfonated polymer film having excellent continuous productivity and exerting uniform ionic conductivity.

SOLUTION: The method for producing a sulfonated polymer film comprises a step of sulfonating a polymer film containing an aromatic group using a sulfonation agent, wherein the sulfonation step is performed by continuously immersing a polymer film containing an aromatic group in a solution in a reaction tank to which a solution containing the sulfonation agent is continuously supplied and from which the solution is continuously discharged.
