<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for lubricating an oil seal part of a rotating shaft in an efficient manner while supplying a great amount of lubricating oil near a slide contact position on the surface of the rotating shaft, having good lubricating operation even right after starting without influencing an oil seal in fatigue aspect or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The structure of lubricating the oil seal part of the rotating shaft comprises the rotating shaft (an input shaft 3) rotatably held by a casing (a pump cover 2), an annular space formed between the casing 2 and the rotating shaft 3, the oil seal held on one axial end side of the annular space by the casing 2 for blocking a gap between the rotating shaft 3 and itself and defining an oil seal chamber 5 on the other end side, an oil supply passage 7, and an oil discharge passage 9. In the inner peripheral wall of the casing 2 forming the oil seal chamber 5, an oil groove 8 is formed which is peripherally cut out into a crescent shape. The oil supply passage 7 is opened at the approximate center of the oil groove 8, and the pressurized lubricating oil is supplied to the oil supply passage 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
