Methods and apparatus are shown for providing targeted media through vide o surveillance. One or more video streams are received at a computing system from one or more video cameras in a consumer environment. Content of at lea st one of the one or more video streams is analyzed at the computing system. Media content is selected in accordance with the analysis of the at least o ne of the one or more video streams. Media content is transmitted from the c omputing system to one or more monitors in the consumer environment.
