PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner for electrostatic charge image development capable of achieving a full color image with high glossiness and proper fine line reproducibility, while suppressing the an occurrence of unevenness of the gloss, particularly in the image formation that uses heavy papers, a manufacturing method thereof, an electrostatic charge image developer, and an image forming method. SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic charge image development contains a binding resin and a coloring agent. Its aluminum element content to carbon measured by the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy is 0.005 atm% or higher, and lower than 0.02 atm%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
