The invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and is meant for determining the quality of medical aid provided to patients with liver and/or spleen injuries.The method of predicting the posttraumatic state to patients with liver and/or spleen injuries consists in that there are determined the following data: general state of the patient during hospitalization (SG), value of the systolic arterial pressure (TAS), pulse frequency (FP), Algover index (IA), laboratory data, including the number of erythrocytes (NE), the number of leukocytes (NL), as well as the gravity of anatomic injuries (LA), the number of injured organs (NOL) and the traumatism character (CT). Then the obtained data are appreciated starting from certain values and it is calculated the discriminant function (F) according to formula:F=0,98ÀSG+0,20ÀTASû0,57ÀFP+IA+0,48ÀNE+0,53ÀNL+2,31ÀLA+1,61ÀNOL+0,06ÀCTû11,75and where F<0 it is predicted a state with chances of survival, and where F>=0 û an unfavourable state with mortality risk.
