<p>Claimed is bulk aggregate building material e.g. sand, gravel, asphalt or liquid concrete into which one or more transponders have been admixed. The transponders contain information that may be captured by radio interrogation. Each transponder has a sensor that monitors physical information e.g. temperature, pressure, mechanical tension. A predetermined number of transponders are admixed to the bulk aggregate in a given ratio. Also claimed is a system to process the bulk aggregates e.g. road asphalt or bitumen finisher based on information trapped by radio interrogation. Further claimed is that transponder interrogation units are attached to various stations in the bulk aggregate processing assembly.</p> |
