<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighter telescopic universal joint having chemical resistance to chemical liquid flowing therein. <P>SOLUTION: The telescopic universal joint comprises a pair of body pipes 1A, 1B having linear sliding motion, and a pair of joint pipes 2, 2 connected to the ends of the body pipes 1A, 1B, respectively, in a spherically slidable manner, the body pipes and the joint pipes being each formed of vinyl chloride resin. A connection part between the body pipes 1A, 1B and a connection part between each of the body pipes 1A, 1B and each of the joint pipes 2 use seal materials 5, 12, respectively, which have at least surface layers formed of Teflon (R).
