PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and highly reliable coupling metal mounting/demounting device for mounting/demounting a coupling metal with remote operation. SOLUTION: The coupling metal mounting/demounting device is provided for joining hoses or pipes to each other, or a hose to a pipe or other equipment into a fluid distributable state. It comprises one coupling metal body 1 as part of the coupling metal provided on a fixed side member 11 and the other coupling metal body 2 as part of the coupling metal provided on a movable side member 12 movable forward/backward relative to the fixed side member 11, and a positioning pin 14 and a positioning guide 15 as positioning mechanisms for positioning one coupling metal body 1 on the side of the fixed side member 11 and the other coupling metal body 2 on the side of the movable side member 12 in such a manner as to be joined to each other when advancing the movable side member 12 to the fixed side member 11.
