The present invention is a work platform 10 for a lift shaft, comprising: a support 11; and a platform 12; wherein the platform is pivotal about the support. Preferably, the platform is mounted to the support by a pair of hinges which are located within a pair of rails for allowing the platform and its supporting frame 14 to move longitudinally about the support 11. Preferably, the platform is mounted on a pair of telescopic arms and carries a safety rail. |
