A device for attaching polarizers and a method for attaching polarizers are provided to attach polarizers to a substrate through a roller having a plurality of split areas without additionally exchanging devices, and reduce work procedure hours. A roller has a plurality of split areas split in a radial shape. A vacuum pressure supply unit supplies a vacuum pressure through a plurality of absorbing holes formed at each split area. A control unit controls to absorb polarizers(2) into the split areas in order and to attach the polarizers to a substrate(1) in order in accordance with rotation of the roller. A supply unit(200) supplies the polarizers to the roller. A release unit(300) releases a protective tape(3) from the polarizers. The control unit controls to release the protective tape before the polarizers are attached to the substrate.
