An image sensor, a manufacturing method, and a camera module including the image sensor are provided to prevent the inflow of foreign substances into a pixel array region by forming a foreign substance preventing protrude. A pixel array region(110) is provided with a micro lens(115). A circuit region(120) is formed on an outer side of the pixel array region. A plurality of foreign substance preventing protrudes(150) for preventing the floating of foreign substances are formed on an upper surface of the circuit region at a certain interval. The certain interval between the foreign substance preventing protrudes is 2/3 to 4/3 times longer than a diameter of the micro lens. The foreign substance preventing protrude has a semispheric shape or a rectangular shape. The foreign substance preventing protrude is made of a material identical to that of the micro lens.
